My first Pussy Bow Blouse is one of my favourite things in my closet. I knew I wanted to make another but I am on restricted fabric purchases (self-imposed) right now while I work through my stash so I thought I was going to have to wait a while. Then I remembered the beautiful butterfly print rayon remnant from Gala Fabrics that I was planning on using as lining for a jacket…. I measured it and I had just enough. Bye bye jacket lining, hello Pussy Bow Blouse!
For this version I serged the seams (rather than doing french seams like I did last time). I also took a shortcut by top-stitching the inside of the neck band/bow instead of hand sewing it and I used snap closures at the wrists instead of loops and buttons. These changes are likely ones I will keep in future version because they made it mush easier and mush faster. I made this one up in a couple of hours.
Not much else to say. I love this pattern. I love the fit of it. I love the way it looks. I am glad I now have two in my closet and can make more any time I want.
Thanks for stopping by!
